Lattice Link Free span Monitoring System (Lattice FMS) reduces the risk and cost of subsea cable and pipeline RBI (Risk Based Inspection). It provides reliable and timely information on fatigue induced in subsea cables and pipelines due to VIV and wave action in situations where free span is recurrent or continuous. Lattice FMS is designed for Autonomous Operations – installation and hot-swap by inspection class ROV deployed from CTV or USV. It is interrogated by above water Lattice Gateway or ROV to download fatigue information. Lattice FMS sets a new industry standard in reducing free span uncertainties.

Lattice Link VIV delivers real-time measurement and analysis of vortex-induced vibration (VIV) on risers, jumpers, and tubulars—replacing periodic inspection with continuous integrity insight. Each compact node integrates a tri-axial accelerometer, inclinometer, and pressure and temperature sensors to capture full dynamic response.

On-board algorithms track dominant frequency, amplitude, and phase to detect vortex lock-in and quantify cyclic stress. Embedded fatigue models compute damage rate and cumulative usage per sea state, providing live fatigue visibility.

Lattice Link Slug provides real-time detection, classification, and quantification of slug-flow events—delivering continuous flow-assurance and integrity insight without intrusive probes or penetrations. Each compact node integrates a hydro-acoustic sensor, tri-axial accelerometer, and temperature sensor with embedded edge analytics and hybrid magnetic–acoustic communications for bi-directional data transfer.

On-board edge computing is able to fuse acoustic and vibration signatures to calculate a Slug Severity Index (SSI), dominant slug period, and regime stability, enabling active choke and anti-slug control. Processed data are transmitted acoustically to Hybrid Gateways and relayed magnetically to the topside Gateway—removing the need for umbilicals, connectors, or dunkers.
